IT Manager

We’re looking for a driven IT Manager to take charge of our systems, lead a skilled team, and push our tech forward. If you’re ready to innovate, streamline processes, and keep everything running at peak performance, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

1.IT supplier contract selection & management

  • Management of existing supplier contacts and SLAs for the PBX, Internet, printers, software, tech support, etc.
  • Ensuring reliable service from suppliers, negotiating contract renewals, finding new suppliers & on boarding when it is required.
  • Full responsibility for management of all IT Contracts

2.IT equipment/systems condition management

  • Responsible for maintenance of IT equipment & systems. Hardware & software.
  • Decide on repairs & upgrades of equipment & systems.
  • Ensure all systems running smoothly. – PCs & laptops, phones, printers, internet, physical network, cameras, servers, etc.

3.Drive company IT towards better practices & technologies

  • Review systems we have in place and fully implement any improvements/new systems required.
  • Practical implementation of AI tools & training of users to make our teams more efficient.
  • Setup Trainings for employees – carried out by IT manager & IT Technician.
  • Deep dives into technical troubleshooting and reporting on issues & fixes implemented.
  • Improve IT security systems.

4.Manage IT Technician team

  • Build & manage IT team of 2 technicians

 

Skills/experience required:

  • 4+ Years experience with setting up & maintaining hosted server in a data centre. Candidate must be able to arrange & setup a server in a Data centre, complete all configurations required to run hosted
  • 3+ years’ experience with networking. Must be able to design, & implement a new IT network in a new building with no external technical assistance. Must be able to maintain/improve existing Networks.
  • 4+ years experience with Microsoft 365.
  • SharePoint, Office Apps, OneDrive, Active Directory
  • 4+ years experience with IT hardware & software.
  • Experience with Accounting software & SQL are beneficial – Sage Evolution & SAP

 

Candidate must be resourceful, self-managing, able to solve complex problems, and able to improve existing IT systems & implement new ones effectively and efficiently. Candidate must be good with people and have experience running a team.

  • Active Directory
  • Proper VPN usage
  • Email signature automation
  • Complete overhaul of our SharePoint setup
  • Practical AI systems
  • Document & report on technician routines of system checks
  • In depth monthly cost analysis report for IT
  • Implementation of SAP later if we move to that
  • Implementation of paperless systems
  • Consistent Routine Training on IT systems of our staff.
  • Documentation standardisation
